Tukee

It's short for Ahwatukee. This word doesn't mean much outside of our community, but for those of us who live here, the word is well known. We are “Tukee Church” because we’re focused on serving and connecting with people who enjoy this part of Phoenix.

Circles

When you enter the gathering space, the seats are set up in rows. But they don't stay that way. We don’t sit in rows; we gather in circles. We believe people in our community are hungry – hungry for answers, for purpose, and for spiritual growth. So we gather in circles, connect with one another, and enjoy spiritual “food” together.

Music

Unfortunately, we don't have a live worship band. Perhaps we will in the future, but for now, we are enjoying a variety of worship experiences to connect with God. “Worship” is not limited to music and singing. There are a variety of ways for us to ponder the God-Story and discover our People-Story.

Kids

We have two rooms available during our Sunday morning services. One is for little ones: birth through kindergarten. The other is for elementary-age kids: 1st through 5th grade. If you have any questions, please email [email protected]. For children older than that, we encourage families to experience church together. When we’re all exploring the same content, the conversation can continue throughout the week.

Bible

We don’t lean on human wisdom. It has been confirmed over and over again that we truly don’t know much! So we lean on the gift of God’s Word (the Bible) as the primary source for understanding his story. Each week, we invite people to read 2-3 chapters from the Bible, which is typically less than six pages! You can do it! Then on Sunday, we’ll dig a little deeper into those chapters. We are a variety of ages from a variety of backgrounds, exploring the same, ancient words together.
